You Are Welcome Here!
United Church of Christ in Forest Grove Oregon The United Church of Christ in Forest Grove is an open and affirming congregation where people of all ages worship and respond to God's call and Jesus's example.

We are a welcoming and affirming congregation. All are welcome! We affirm all people. Regardless of age, race, abilities, gender, marital status, or sexual orientation. Enriched by diversity, our congregation respects differences, focuses on community and works for inclusiveness in the world.

We are an active church! We have several choirs, a church band, a bell choir, groups for adults, youth, and children. In addition, many of our members are actively involved with community organizations such as Friends of Historic Forest Grove, Habitat for Humanity, Amercian Red Cross, local homeless issues, PFLAG, among many others.

We invite you to join us soon!

Sunday Morning Service starts at 10AM in the sanctuary.

This service features a voice choir and sometimes a bell choir as well, along with our organ. The church band, Strong Wings, performs on fifth Sundays. Children are invited to the front for the children's moment, and then excused to go to the learning community for Sunday School. Holy communion is served on the first Sunday of each month. All are invited to partake. Fellowship with coffee and snacks follows immediately after the service.

Youth of the church do the service on fifth Sundays.

Gospel Choir seeking a director and/or accompanist
The Gospel Choir offers an alternative experience for those who can't commit to singing every Sunday, for those who can't read sheet music, and for those who just want to belt it out from the heart. We lack polish, for sure, but we are committed to bring to the Worship experience a gospel-rooted sound. And we have lots of fun in between. All are welcome to join us. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM in the Chapel. Call Sandy Freeman 503-357-6119 or Bette Prickett 503-324-4220 if you have questions.
